I. Introduction
programs is designed to provide an orientation for students of classes 6 to 12, as well as UG. and PG Students. The ISMS aims to expose young minds to the excitement of higher mathematics and science and to guide them toward meaningful careers in these fields. The teaching methodology during the training program differs from regular classroom learning. Participants are encouraged to think critically and independently prove mathematical and scientific concepts.
II. Objectives
The objective of the training programme is to instil a scientific temperament, encourage critical thinking, and foster a competitive mindset among students. The ISMS training programme includes an intensive problem-solving camp and provide basic foundation in the subject.
III. Teaching Pedagogy
The primary goal of the training camp is not to provide routine lectures, but to encourage participants to think, learn, and analyse and develop independent thinking while exposing students to the excitement of doing mathematics and science.
IV. Selection Process
The selection will be based on a national level examination conducted by IMSA in the respective subjects, and shortlisted students will be invited to a training camp.
VI. Fee Structure
A nominal fee may be charged from the selected candidates for the training camp.

- • Identify master trainers and mentors to guide innovative pedagogies and build a national pool of subject experts.
- • Organize workshops, mentorship sessions, and peer-learning forums to enhance professional development.
- • Provide platform to teachers for discuss and share on innovative teaching practices and pedagogies.
- • Provide certification and recognition for their career progression.
- • Implement periodic evaluation and certification to encourage excellence.
- • Select teachers through recommendations, performance reviews, and aptitude assessments.

Career Guidance and Mentorship
The Indian Mathematics and Science Association (IMSA) provides career guidance and mentorship to students to help them plan and pursue their academic and professional goals effectively. Announcement for the same will be made periodically on its website.
Students who are selected for career guidance and mentorship will be provided:
- • Academic support through personalized mentoring by subject experts.
- • Research-oriented learning opportunities to build analytical and innovative skills.
- • Guidance for higher studies in leading institutions across India and abroad.
- • Internships and exposure programs to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
- • Regular workshops and webinars on emerging career paths in mathematics, science, and education.
